ip softphones

i have installed some more softphone licences on a r11
definity but i can only log on 5 agents even though in the System customer options screen shows that i have another 16
please help

Make sure that you're using the proper version. Sometimes, when you add on licenses, they only add on for the new Softphone version. Therefore, you could have 5 licenses for Version 3 and then 15 for Version 4.
 
You may have enough IP agents turned on in your customer options, but check that your maximum concurrently registered IP's. you'll be limited to that many connections regardless of how many IP agents you have turned on.
 
the 16 ip softphones are showing on page 8 of the customer options and the maximum concurrently registered ip's is still showing 5 . How do i get this changed.

You need to add IP station RTU's, call your BP or Avaya to get you some more then you'll need to get the license downloaded and vola you'll be able to have all of the softphones logon.
