IP Softphones

What is involved with setting up Softphone on
your desktop ...we just upgraded to release 11
and are using 4612 IP phones (They work like a charm)
off of the our Network ....

set up clan (filesvc)
svc port 1719
tftp is running on a standalone PC on the Network

The Definity and The Intuity Audix are own their own
Ip addresses and subnet ...our Network (gateway ,subnet)
are own something completly different

Definity 192.168.0.1 mask 255.255.0.0

Audix 192.168.0.2 mask 255.255.0.0

would we have to do some type of Ip Mapping ?
either in the definity or our Network

Did you get it working?

I never did get mine to work from a Public IP. I natted a public IP to my switch through a Checkpoint FW-1 firewall, but still no worky.

Works fine on the LAN though.
