I am running IP Softphone on my Dell laptop and I experience voice clipping. I have installed a softphone on my desktop on the same LAN and I do not experience the clipping. I also ran softphone on a co-worker's Dell (identical to my own) and I experience the same clipping. Does anyone have any kind of documentation on how to change the sound settings on a laptop to support IP Softphone. My operating system is Windows XP on both laptops and the working desktop.
