Has anybody ever seen that message when they try to login into the IP SoftConsole. I have a 4610sw. Using Communications Manager 3 with the S8700. All help is appreciated.
IP Softphone R5 came out before the 4610sw phone was introduced. Your S8700 at CM3 software will fully support the phone, but IP Softphone R5 does not recognize that phone type. Go to the Avaya support website (
click the downloads link, click the letter "I", Click IP Softphone, and download IP Softphone version 5.1 or 5.2. Both of these versions support 4610 set type.
