ip softphone problem

cm 3.1.1 s8300/g350 softphone R5.2

When we try to login the ip softphone we get the error
"Avaya IPSoftphone R5 stations are not allowed to log into the server.Contact your system administrator"

46xx ip phones work ok.

Any ideas?

Have you stroked the IP Softphone YES on the station screen of the extension?

You probably didn't purchase IP softphone RTU's. The G350 doesn't come with any.

Lets see a 'disp sys cust' page 9.

You must be right, on page 9 of sys cus there is no entry for "IP_soft".
I thought that we always get 5 for free but i guess this is not the case.

s8300/g350 and s8300/g250 doesn't have any "free" ip softphone licenses.
