Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to configure the QOS values for softphone? I believe that the values are taken from the Ip-Network-Region form. I have Packet Scheduler enabled on the PC's network connection. When the data port on the data switch is monitored it is not showing any 802.1p/q packets for values 6 and 7 as set on the network region. Am I doing this right? Can IP Softphone use 802.1p/q? Any help appreciated.

Trying is the first step on the road to failure

Multidisadvantaged,

ip-network-region settings are used for traffic generated by switch itself. ip phone gets its settings from dhcp and tftp servers. take a look at this document for dhcp server settings and tftp configuration file format.
ip softphone can use 802.1p/q if it is supported by computer's network card and operating system.

You can find it on your Windows network card setting "QoS packet scheduler" just enable it
