I've been reading up on IP Security, and as usual I can only find information on what it is supposed to do, rather than how the hell you actually configure the thing step by step.

In W2000 there seems to be references to it all over the place, in Active Dirtectory users and Computers, in Domain Security Policy, in Domain Controller Security Policy, and in Local Security Policy.

Can anyone tell me how, and how best to configure IPsec on a Windows 2000 domain with mulitiple sites, as I haven't a clue where to start.

Many Thanks

I think this should get you started...

From Start -> RUN type MMC

After the MMC console launches, choose CONSOLE then ADD/REMOVE SNAP-IN. This will launch a new ADD/REMOVE Snap-in dialog box. Hit the ADD button. Choose to add the IP Secutity policy manager.

I think you will be able to figure it out from here. I've tested with it a few times. It seems to work great.

-hope this helps.
