hi all...

i have an access router with an address pool of 192.168.0.65 to 192.168.0.94... i would like to expand this list so the last boundary IP is 192.168.0.126... but my worry is how can i exclude the network and broadcast IPs of both the two subnets that will be traversed, so they don't get assigned to the dial-up clients..?..

all help appreciated..

you could just turn it into one single subnet and give out address from that pool. or you would have to create two seperate pools. Erik Rudnick, CCIE No. 9545

i could create two separate pools, but i have a single group async interface for all my 4 PRIs...

wouldn't having seperate pools, in this case, cause confusion, as i specify one default pool on the group async interface..?.. or is it possible to specify more than one pool on a group async interface

all help appreciated..

my first suggestion would be to just turn it into a single pool with a 255.255.255.192 subnet mask and the network number 192.168.0.64. This will allow the usable addresses to be 192.168.0.65 0 192.168.0.126 Erik Rudnick, CCIE No. 9545
