Hi all,
i have a client that is experiencing problem with 4610 - 4620 and ip-softphones.

They are working with an S8700 ( 1 active - 1 stand-by ) and 1 Clan that is coneccted to a c460 for give connections to the ip-phone.

At some times during the day, all the phones go in discovering and for making the registration possible you need to do a reset chassis on the C460.

Anyone has experienced something like this ?

Any suggestion 'd be appreciated.

Thanks

it looks like the CLAN is flapping a lot. Are you sure the clan port speed and the c460 port speed is the same.Discovering means the phone can't find the route back to the clan

what FW are your running on the Clan?

It is always best to force you clan and LAN switch to 100 full.

Did you resolve this issue as I have the same going on but have the ports set to 100 full and can ping the CLAN

I had this problem once. I moved the CLAN network cable to a different port in the LAN switch, and it started working. I have since updated CLAN firmware and rebooted my entire phone switch and moved it back to the original port in the LAN switch. No issues lately.
