IP Phone Unlicensed

I am connecting 2 new IP phones. I programmed the extensions and users but we are waiting for a switch to be delivered.The site has 20 IP Endpoint licenses. None of the IP extensions are set to Reserve License.

In the meantime, I looked at H323 Phone Status in Monitor. I see that 17 IP handsets are currently registered in the system. So I have 3 licenses available. My two new extensions are showing "No License." Is this because they are not yet registered? If there is an issue I'm trying to address it before the switch is installed. Please advise.

with the new systems even if yu just have an extension programmed it will take a license.
Check how many extensions are programmed and delete anything you don't need

It will only use an Avaya Endpoint license if there is an Avaya Endpoint connected or an extension has reserved a license.
All my systems have way more extensions programmed than I have endpoint licenses.

It will show a warning in System Status though.

In a SE environment network IP endpoint licences are allocated to a system based on the number of base extensions programmed, so if you have a primary SE and a secondary SE with 100 IP endpoint licences and 80 base extensions programmed on the primary system you can only then have 20 handsets licenced on the secondary system regardless of how many actual phones are in use on the primary server.

We finally got there today and connected the phones. They came up with no problem. The licenses filled in when the phone came up. Thanks everyone for your feedback.
