I have the appropriate licenses on 406V2, 4.0 sftwre.
Have loaded manager on remote PC, can access VOIP user via VPN at 406 but cannot make or receive calls.
Any ideas?
 
Try changing codec from Auto to G729 or something like that. I had this problem on Softphones.
 
Maybe you have looked but have you enabled VOIP on the user in manager? Have you enabled it on the phone manager side under prefernces. what type of VPN is it? did it work on the LAN before you tried the WAN
 
Had this trouble myself. there was a post here before.
If you look in My Doc. There is a profile stored in there I deleted this Profile and solved my trouble.

In PM Preferences tick confirm voip ip address and enable fast start under the audio codec tab.

Fast start will return ringing to the caller, confirm ip address will make the answer button work.

Also make sure Off Hook station is enabled on the user.

When Phonemanger opens now it will ask you which IP address to use and not use default which is where your problem is!
