I am installing IP Office Softconsole on a machine that is currently running Vista and wanted to make sure that they are compatible with each other. Has anyone done this and had any issues I should watch out for?

I'd suggest a look at the dedicated IP office forum! (forum940) You'll find that more people can answer your question there than here (although some of us may post in both forums)
Vista compatabilty depends on the IP Office version that you are using
Version 3.2.59 offers vista support
Version 4.0.5 does not
Version 4.0.7 + offers vista support for SC (Ver 4.0.8)
The only vista versions supported are ultimate and business
People have reported installing applications of Vista before support - I believe you need an updated java runtime and to delete the manifest file...
