IP office Dial Direct and status monitoring

Hello,

Im working on our phone system IP500V2 and i want to know if there is a way that a button can be configure as Dial Direct and still have the status of the extension that im calling. I know the Dial Direct dont give the status but is there another way or function to do it.

I forgot to tell that the phone i need to configure are the T7316E and M7310.

If you create a shortcode
*22xxx (if you have 3 digit extensions
DialDirect
N

and then put a User button on the phone you can dial *22 (or put it on a button for convenience) and then press the user button and it will indicate that the User is busy while you page through the phone
