I have an IP Office 500V2 R8.0 (44) that was recently installed. The customer is getting echo on their headsets. They have different make and models. All of the calls using handset and speakerphone is alright. Has anyone ran into this issue?
Most amplifier bases have different settings on them. Different phones require different settings to work to the best of their ability. It may be as simple as tweeking the settings on the amplifier.
Indeed, I was about to say that same thing, to prove it's a setting rather than the phone messing with the audio on the headset port try swapping to the handset port, if the audio is still distorted you know it's the headsets/settings as the handset is in effect a clean audio source
