IP networking MXone_TSW to BPP50

Hi to all!

a one LIM system BC12 sp7 was upgraded in TSW sp2.

I can have IP netwoking when using ELU32 in MD110 but can not have IP netwoking when using IPLU in MD110(TSW).
ELU32, IPLU and IPU of the BP have been tried in the same subnet in Ethernet switch and in Ethernet Hub also.
Any idea?

Is it allowed using R3A firmware for IPLU in TSW sp2?

Hi rfpup,

yes this is allowed. make sure you are running latest FW on the BP side too.

I can not upgrade the IPLU to R3A:
I have the following information from MD!

DOWNLOAD INFORMATION
DOWNLOAD FAILED IN LIM 1
FAILED BPOS REASON
001-2-60 TIME OUT FROM BOARD
DOWNLOAD COMPLETED

I can ping the IP address of the IPLU from the web server.
IP phones in the site can contact the same web server and can download their files.
I have read something about mime files in the web server and added in the IPLU folder properties as following:

1. .* application/octet-stream
2. .txt text/plain
3. .zip application/x-zip-compressed

Any other idea?

R3A firmware has a different upload procedure:

like stated on the knowledgebase:

Upgrading procedure has changed


The reason for this problem is that with R3A the "procedure" for upgrading has changed.

Under the R3A directory you should only have 2 files:

Config.txt
IPLF.zip

IPLF.zip should NOT be unzipped.


Remember to adjust the "MIME Types" in the IIS server if need.

I have the same problem. Each attempt to upload finish with the same printout and signal READWRITEBRDRES in HIMDP.

I saw from the .txt file inside the zipped one R3A that the procedure had been changed.
But I think all the three files inside the zipped one are needed. there was a aplication named unzip. If you read the .txt file the IPLU need to get this application also from the web server and use it for unziping the iplf.zip

I tried with three files in IPlu folder, also with two files as you mention above but I can not have IPLU software upgrade via the normal way.
If putting the new files in CF card of the IPLU everything goes well.


Any idea why upgrade via web server is not going well?

I think it depends from what FW you're upgrading from.
anyway loading the flash with a cardreader is the fastest and easiest solution...

I am upgrading from R2G to R3A.

I don't know if after putting the IPLU in the system and needed to upgrade from R3A to FUTURE upgrade via web server will work or not.

I can upgrade R2G to R3A via webserver without any problem. maybe a webserver problem??
