IP / MAC Address Home Network Question

When visiting websites does anything more than the IP address get transmitted? I.E. The MAC address of the network card? or maybe the local IP address? I know like browser type is transmitted.. but anything more distinctive?

With most HTTP requests, your IP address is transmitted so that the server can respond to your request. Your MAC address would never be transmitted with a HTTP request.
