With the right drivers then you should be fine. I had a couple of different brands and one worked yet the other didn't. Keep your receipt and buy a couple.

tbh i just carry a networking card with me and bang that in when i do programming if theirs lots to do etc .
otherwise its done through keyset programing .
also might be worth leaving a lan card in their and sticking it on their lan . doing some port forwarding so you can get remote access alot easyer . saving you having to go to site every time you wish to do a programming change

If you're doing a lot of work on them take a LANU card around with you, as Martin suggests. Or by an old XP laptop with an RS232 port on. I use an old Pana toughbook from ebay, Toshiba Satellites are good too.
