Hi does anyone know if I can use a USB to RS232 cable for PCAdmin to connect to LDK-20?
Thanks

With the right drivers then you should be fine. I had a couple of different brands and one worked yet the other didn't. Keep your receipt and buy a couple.

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

I'm having no luck trying to get the driver, I don't suppose you remember the name ?
Thanks

I meant the driver for the USB lead. There is no driver for the system, just the IPLDK admin software.

I use a digitus DA-70156 usb serial adaptor with a standard ldk programming lead. This combination works fine on my win 10 machine.

tbh i just carry a networking card with me and bang that in when i do programming if theirs lots to do etc .

otherwise its done through keyset programing .

also might be worth leaving a lan card in their and sticking it on their lan . doing some port forwarding so you can get remote access alot easyer . saving you having to go to site every time you wish to do a programming change

Hi Invit,
If you're doing a lot of work on them take a LANU card around with you, as Martin suggests. Or by an old XP laptop with an RS232 port on. I use an old Pana toughbook from ebay, Toshiba Satellites are good too.

Regards
Mark
