i am looking for a tool that scans the network and give me all the ip addresses who are actif and there pc name

Hi Steven,

I know of a tool which does just as you ask.

It is called "Advancved IP Scanner", it is Freeware and lets you scan an entire range of IP's and then select the IP's you want and do the following:

*Get user logged on
*Get PC Name
*Shutdown the machine remotely.

The software is a free download from

http://www.radmin.com

If you can't get it, let me know and I will e-mail you my copy, as it is freeware.
