We utilize IP filtering to limit access to our IIS 4.0 web server. There are several external clients that get rejected by the filtering. We want to know what IP address they are coming from so that we can add it to the allowed addresses. For various reasons we cannot ask them their IP. We looked in the Security logs to see if when they are rejected an event is written to the log, hopefully with the IP address of the attempting client that was rejected. We don't see such an entry. Is capturing this information possible and, if so, how? We are using the Extended logging format.
