I am setting up IP agent v6 on a definity V10. I have connected to the switch and logged in as an agent. I can dial an extension and connect to people on the switch, but I can't get out. I have my windows dialer set to dial 9, and the area code is OK. I am trying to dial an area code that is neither my home area code nor the switches home area code. I have the CORs set up so that can talk to each other (I believe)and I have the COS set up with trunk to trunk permissions.
It dials my 203NXX-XXXX telephone number fine, but it only dials 9 to the other long distance number that I am trying to reach.
Here is the list trace station from the switch
16:35:58 active service-link cid 0x96
16:36:01 dial 91203NXXXXXX#
16:36:01 term trunk-group 401 cid 0x96
16:36:01 dial 91203NXXXXXX#
16:36:01 route-pattern 4 preference 1 cid 0x96
16:36:01 seize trunk-group 401 member 126 cid 0x96
16:36:05 dial 91203NXXXXXX#
16:36:05 outpulse done 1203NXXXXXX#
16:36:13 active trunk-group 401 member 126 cid 0x96
16:36:24 denial event 1643: Off-hook dialing time out D1=0x60bb D2=0x95
16:36:24 dial 9
16:36:24 denial station 1549 cid 0x95
Any ideas?

The denial event seems to indicate the pbx is not hearing the digits. Just for kicks, use the application dial pad to dial the digits. First Grab dial tone by clicking the dial number icon or putting your cursor in the dial field and hit enter. Then use dial pad icon to dial the digits.

I don't think it's a cos issue.. but:

On the COS of the station- flag the following: Call Fwd-All Calls to y, Restrict Call Fwd-Off Net - n, Call Forwarding Busy/DA - y, Extended Forwarding All - y, Extended Forwarding B/DA - y. Do this on the COS of the station, if it still fails try the same on COS 0.

Copy and past the screen before you start so you can put everything back if you want to...

Thanks,

So I figured it out, it was not a COR, but a firewall issue! The firewall was blocking some of the call set up string. Took the firewall out of the picture and pop the call went right out.
