I have a group of computers that were on a 10.200.*.* subnet. These can acquire IP address from 10.200.0.2 to 10.200.0.75. One of these computer, IP address 10.200.0.47, has a shared printer connected to it.

These computers were moved to the 10.7.*.* subnet where they can acquire IP address in the range 10.7.0.10 to 10.7.3.250. Whenever we try to ping the computer with the shared printer, by netbios name, this failed as the name is being resolved to the old IP address. How can I force the name to be resolved to the new IP address which is 10.7.2.120.

Check your WINS server for a stale entry for that computer name. Remove it, and reboot the computer with the shared printer to re-register it with WINS.
