IP address of the DNS server???? Event ID 5774

How do I get the IP address of our Active Directory DNS server??
Is it just a matter of ipconfig /all ????

If you mean how a client should find the DNS ?

Allways have the AD DNS as primary DNS on all clients. typically via DHCP.

In the AD DNS there is a number of service entries e.g. ldap, these tells clients where to find for example the DC.

If your clinet doesnt use the right DNS server, you wont be able to de anything.
