Hi,

I'm not expert in networking. Can a computer (on network) have more than one IP address ? I have seen windows services running in same computer have different IP address. I really appreciate any feedback.

Thanks much

A computer can have multiple network cards installed, each configured to use it's own IP address.

and a computer with one network card can have multiple IPs.
Webservers for example can have several IPs with a different website/ftp to each with only one connection.

Chris.
