IP Accounting overhead

Has anyone had any issues running IP Accounting as far as degradation is concerned? There are about 100 active IP address that would traverse the interface this would be on with many destinations. Any feedback on experience would be appreciated. This would be running on a 2620 router.

I've never heard of any issues running IP accounting and I've never noticed any problems whatsoever when I've used it. We have many interfaces in our network where it is a permanent fixture.

I don't believe this does.. IP accouting just pulls information from CEF to my knowledge..


All cache based items..
