IP ACCESS LIST

I am beginners guide to the world of networking, I have purchased a router... it has ip access-lists applied. IS there any way i can remove all this access-lists applied to the router interface?

Can you recmmend me any reading sources on Ip access list that exlains step by step clearly please!!

router(config)#no access-list X
router(config)#^Z
