IP 500 problem

Have an odd one here with an IP 500. Replaced a 403 with a 500. Have another site on a scn, they have a 403. Everything was working fine and now the ip 500 will not communicate with voicemail, (on site with 500) or the other 403. You cannot ping it anymore, the voicemail server houses manager and cannot find the 500. If I hook my laptop on the network, it will find the 500 but give two different addresses. The first address is the LAN 1 address of the unit, the second address is a public address of 67.xx.xx.xx. Any thoughts would be great.

I want to add, the ip 500 was working fine and communicating across the scn and with the voicemail server for about 3 weeks and just stopped. No firewall problems. Nothing has changed on the network.

This is the very most made mistake
If it suddenly stops working there is something changed
Do a traceroute to the othere ipoffice and see where it stops or try to ping the gateway on the other end
You say it can not communicate anymore with the voicemailserver on the same location this must be something easy like a vlan or routing issue

Have done a network trace, this stopped happening last night around 3:30, they are a 24/7 medical site. My company does the network also, my IT guys did not change anything. I got there around 7 this morning so it had approximately 3 and 1/2 hours to go awry. I called tech support and it confused them also. I got the a vpn connection and they think it is a bad unit. I just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem before I replace the unit tomorrow.

It could be a bad unit
Only the voicemail part is then a bit strange or is this atached to that unit too ?

I know. I attached it to the unit and it still does not respond. The thing that is weirding me out is, I can connect my laptop anywhere on the network and connect to the 500. but, it gives me the ip 500's address, in the select ip window and gives me another address of 67.xx.xx.xx and it is the same unit. Almost like the STUN server is giving out an address. very strange. and..... it will take changes from me when I make them through tftp. ????
