I have embedded mail on this IP500 and some of the lines are staying connected for DAYS until all lines can't be used until reboot.
I thought there was an issue with 5.0 but can't find it.
Any thoughts on this?

disconnect supervision turned on?
Disconnect sent from the line provider too?
I installed a customer a few weeks back and the line provider didn't have that on the lines and opening a service ticket was a hassle because they claimed that this doesn't exist on analog lines. So be persistent and don't take "not able to" for a valid answer from your line provider.
The disconnect signal is a 500ms voltage drop on the line and you can easily check it with a multi meter on the line when you call in from your cell phone and then hang up only on the cell.
