Hello All,
I'm a Dutch student and I'm currently working with CORBA, Delphi and Java for an Internet application.
The problem is that I want to use an IOR (in DCOM it's calles a GUID) instead of Object Names to "bind" the CORBA object, because I'm working with the Internet.
In Java it is possible to work with the IOR name by an method called "string_to_object".
In Java it is also possible to set the the IOR string to an text file, so that I can get this text-file to thet client where I can connect to the server by getting the IOR in the text-file..
My question is if it is possible to set the IOR in a text file using Delphi 5...
If anyone could help me, I would be pleased...

PS. If anyone made an Internet page that is working CORBA objects or an Delphi application, I'm very interested to know how he did this...
PS2. I'm sorry for my bad English
