IOCTL error help

How can I clear the following error message:

I/O request failure - Error IOCTL request failed Win32 error.

Is this a Windows error message or related to the Call Pilot?

Its an automated alarm being generated so we are not actually on site and doing anything.

We remotely monitor this CS1K and I was just after some assistance on the error message and a possible clear.
