It seems as if my BCM 3.7 forgets my password from time to time and a power cycle is the only way back in.

I can use my ee_admin and password for about 24 hours after unplugging the system letting it reboot. For some reason, about 24 hours later, i get bad user name and password error. However, once i unplug and plug back in, my password lets me in just fine.

The password is NOT default. i have replace the BFT. Not sure what to do next.

ANY SUGGESTIONS??

TIA

When the password doesn't work, does the Vmail work?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

well now I am able to log in so i can't tell if the vmail and switch both lock me out.

this log in error seems to come and go. so weird...

I have had this same issue. It was caused by internet explorer browser cache. The next time this happens, go to internet options, and delete temp files. That Java interface on the 3.7 and older interface is rottten. Delete the cache, then restart internet explorer and you will get right in. If you use IE7, there is a single button to delete all browsing history. It has to do with the runtime.
