Invalid Login Information

My business currently uses Crystal Enterprise 9. I have several Crystal reports that were created in V10. Do these two versions play well with each other? Also, I have uploaded some of my V10 reports on V9 the Enterprise server. The database for these reports is Microsoft Access, not secured, and on a shared network. When I attempt to run the Crystal report on the server, it is asking for a username a password. I have tried all possible combinations and no combinations but the report still wants something. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can eliminate this problem?

The ODBC connection to the MS-Access DB needs to be set-up as a System DSN on each server that hosts a CE-9 Page or Job Server.

It needs to be the same OBDC connection that has been set-up on the PC where the RPTs were developed.

Yes CR10 and CR9 play ell with each other. (as does CR XI)

You also need to ensure that the windows service account running the CE9 services has sufficient network access rights to the folder hosting the MS Access database.(The default windows service account is the Local System account which as no network access rights by default)

Ensure the path to your Access database setup in your database connection (whether using native or ODBC) is using a UNC path eg //servername/folder and not a mapped network drive letter.
