Using Crystal 7.0 and Access 97 Database

When attempting to join two tables, I get this error message "Invalid Field Link. Not an Indexed Field"

As one would suspect from the error message, the tables do not have any indexes on them. How can one work around the problem as putting indexes on the tables will be difficult due to the way they are being built in Access.

Thanks
Bennie

Andrew is correct. If you use and ODBC data source, the fact that the fields are indexed or not makes no difference. I run into this all the time working with btrieve tables. Software Training and Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

Thanks Andrew and dgillz. [thumbsup2]

I was fairly certain that was the way to do this and wanted to be sure.
