Hi,

I'm having this problem(please see below) whenever I try to create a datawindow using a stored procedure. I am using MSSql Server 2005 and PB 10.5. I am connecting to it through ODBC.

Error:
Cannot create Datawindow
SQLSTATE 22005
Invalid character value for cast specification...

Can anybody please give me leads?

Thanks,

Tina

As part of the dw creation process from a stored proc, PB makes a call to the db with 0 and/or blank parameters in order to get a result set back with the actual datatypes returned from the stored proc (if any). Set up a database trace to determine what is being sent to the db from pb. You may have to 'tweek' the stored proc to return a dummy result set so that PB can build the datawindow object.
