Invalid arguement in opening db

Can you get to the database window by holding down the shift key at startup? Can you open other databases? Try importing all the objects into a new database. Also go to microsoft's website and look for a utility call jetcomp.exe that compacts and repairs databases.

Mike,
I have tried all that you suggested. I can open other databases, just not this one. And the jetcomp.exe, i d/led and tried<after reading the readme file lol> and got same error. The person who was last updating this database was signed on IQ session. when i try and import the database in excel <hopin just to get table info out of it> a popscreen asks for username and password. I have tried to use diskdoc on this too. all to no avail.
