Intuity Audix External Modem Setup

We are re-installing an Intuity Audix and the remote access modem has disappeared in the move. Does it take a special modem or will any modem work? Are there any special settings in the configuration of the modem to make it work?

Any analog modem will work. We're using the sportster 33.3
