I have a Intuity audix on a G3Si R8. When I try to add another subscriber, it gives the error "Duplicate touch tone - already in use" message. Any suggestions?

Do the 'list sub' command and make sure that you're not adding a duplicate person.

Exactly, because Intuity uses dial by name you cannot enter a subscriber who is an exact match for another. I have problems with this in departments where we use the department name instead of the actual user and end up doing things like Rehab1, Rehab2, etc.

Hi,

You can also find the name and original mailbox by typing display subscriber "name" - this will give the same info as disp sub. xxxxx. It won't help with the problem but may help in tracing the orginial mailbox.

I've had the same problem with our networked audix voicemails. If a subscriber on one of the networked voicemail systems has the same name, the problem recurs.
The solution is to vary the names a bit. Rehab1, Rehab2 works because the 1 and 2 are differing keypad keys; Rehab A and Rehab B won't work because A, B and C are on the same key.

this happends even if the name are not the same, you know eacvh letter in the dial pad of the phone have 3 letters (the 7 has 4)
in the other post you have the answer

You could also put a comma (,) in front of the name if you do not want it to show up in a dial by name or in a name search.
