Short story, our 1.0 box burst the capacitors on the motherboard.
Called Avaya, they said we have to replace the whole system, can't to just the mobo.
fine, no prob. They sent us a 1.1 chassis, the voice card was swapped, the system installed from the CD.
thing is, when we restore from the backup (either the daily or a manual I made awhile back) the system seems to get corrupted.
Is a 1.0 backup compatible with a 1.1 system?
Am I going to have to re-enter every single subscriber, and lose everything that was on the backup?
I did make an image of the disk in the 1.0 box, it seems that the boot partition was corrupted, but I have all the data partitions. would it be possible to somehow re-create a "backup" or somehow transfer that data onto the 1.1 machine, so we don't have to redo the entire system?
Thanks!
