Hello everybody,on ip office system phone others users can join some users who are communicate together by doing the "9" + (external number) for outgoing call ,for users who got this problem, under Telephony/Supervisor Setting_ I checked the Cannot be Intruded box that was fixed by default but the problem persist again, could someone has a better idea and where that this problem come and then finally it will fix.

Thanks,

so they dial an intrusion code or just 9 and a number as well?

No,they did not dial an intrusion call, because there is no programmed button for this feature,as i said many of them use Digital and Analogue phone and to make an external call they just need to press "9" a prefix, plus the external number and by doing that when they press the "9" sometimes they used to hear communication between others users.
Other idea please.
Thanks,

what does SSA show, are they on the same line or on different ones. If they are on the same one then the IPO is the problem, if not then you have crosstalk on the lines.
Analog lines or PRI/ISDN lines?
Analog lines can have that problem, digital lines usually not

Analogue Line, there are 16 lines in total, all of them use these 16 lines to make external call by pressing the "9" button first plus (number to call),if that problem is cause by a crosstalk, does IP Office could fix it or the FAI only ? other idea please.
Thanks,

I'm also experiencing this problem. User will dial 9 to make a call out and they will answer a ringing line. IPO 9.0.400.965 using Analogue lines. They are answering the line, not hearing cross-talk.

scudworth that is a different problem, you picking up calls that are not ringing is an analog line problem because there is a split second between the call ringing and the system actually recognizing it so the line gets occupied even though a call comes in because the system has not noticed the call yet.
Every system with analog lines has that problem.

These are calls that have been waiting in a queue in a hunt group for some time, not new calls coming in that were answered. I thought it was exactly as you described but I have tested that theory as well. It seems if all the lines are busy instead of getting a waiting for line message the system will pick a line that has a call queued in a hunt group. I've never seen this before on previous releases so I'm starting to suspect it's a glitch in 9.0.4.

For both of you:
What about upgrading to R9.0.5? (Or going down to a lower version of R9.0.x)

Kind regards

Gunnar

I imagine they're using line appearence keys. As we always say, you need to avoid them :)

They're not using Line appearance, they have a PRI. I'll be upgrading the system to 9.0.5 in the next few days. I was suspecting that this is a bug.

wow that is a real idiotic bug to have.
Hope that the upgrade fixes it for you.
Occupying the same channel on a PRI is even worse than having it on an analog line.

Let us know please scudsworth if that solved your issue or not so we can make a mental note in case we run into it again.
