Intranet(Company) ftp site not accessible through VPN.

Hi all.

I have a question that, through VPN, is it possible to access intranet(Company) ftp site?

I tried typing ftp://xxxxxx in Internet Explorer Address bar and accesing on it, but, IE said, can not display.

I found opening comand prompt and typing ftp commands and downloading ftp files, but it is not so good userinterface.

Is it possible to access company ftp site on IE through VPN?

The answer is yes. Can you ping the ftp ip? can you run ftp internally?

i didn't try pinging ftp when connected through vpn.
but while same time, in other PC, the ftp site was accessible in LAN connection.
