We recently acquired a company and I have been tasked with finding a solution to share calendars from two different Exchange Organizations (one 5.5 and one 2000. I've read about the InterOrg Replication utilty but I am still unclear on what it allows to be shared. I read that people can share free/busy information but I didn't read that calendars could be shared. I am also interested in finding out if the Global Adress Book is shared as well. I am assuming that an AD connector will need to be installed as well for the GAL information to be shared.

Is anyone familiar with the InterOrg Replication Utility and what type of information that it shares? If so, can you please help me out? I'm so tired of reading Microsoft articles that explain things in vague terms.

I am wading through the same documentation. Did you ever find the answers?

The documentation is terrible. I have contacted my Microsoft rep and I am waiting for an expert to call me and explain things. I'll post my findings once I speak to them.

Good luck! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you ;-)
