Hi all,

I'm running an internal network using ip(192.168.x.x) to a linksys router to a cox cable modem. I want to allow certain people to access my network, how do I do that?
What do I have to do to set it up, and what does the client have to do?
Cox didn't have any suggestions, and couldn't help.

any help, suggestions, and advice will be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

You might try posting this in one of the networking forums. This doesn't sound like a database question. You might have better luck there!

Cheers!

With basic internet service, Cox doesn't guarantee you a static IP address, so this would be dicey. You'll have to move up to one of their business packages--maybe then you'll even get real tech support.
