Internet pictures not showing

Hello

I have windows 98 and when I am on the the internet, I notice that pictures are not showing on some sites while other sites are showing just fine. I've check the accessibility in internet options to make sure that nothing was selected under formatting and I am still lost.

If you're using IE, then try fixing it with the repair tool in System Information/Tools.

What Browser....?
What version...?

Try #1 first...then 2 and 3
1) If IE6 try , in IE, Tools>Inet opts>Advanced>Enable Third-party browser extensions...("check" box)
Restart PC
If no go...go back and uncheck it and restart...

2) Also in "Advanced",under Multimedia, check "Show Pictures".....
3) Also in "Advanced", see if "play animations in web pages" is checked,as high ActiveX security may stop this, if the ones you're not seeing are animated.

Are you running any AdAware(or similar) program..as it may be blocking ads, which are laced into the graphics.
