Hello,
Hope this wasn't asked already. I am new to javascript and really like it. I am running Win XP home and Internet explorer 6 with sevice pack 2 installed. Everytime I open a page with script I am working on I get the restriction warnning at the top of the browser (yellow bar). Is there any way around this? Thanks in advance.

In IE6:

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab
Scroll down to the section labeled security. Check the box of the 2nd option labeled: Allow active content to run in files on My Computer

This did not stop the security restriction,,,is a reboot required maybe?

Why not try it and find out?
