Hello,
I've read many of the threads already looking for an answer to this problem.
I can click on an underlined link to something, but if there is a button on the page that is suppose to do the same thing as the underlined link, I get an error when I click on the button. The web page works on my work pc, but not my home pc. Example. go to I added some movies to my queue. At home, I try to click on the button "manage queue" and the window pops up, ie script error. null or object not found... . At the top of the block buster screen, I can click a link that takes me to my queue, but the buttons wont. Why is this happening.
When I"m here at work, I can click the buttons.

I have windows xp home edition. NOT sp2. I have went into tools/internet options, and disabled script debug, and Unchecked display a notification.
I still get the error. Its not just the block buster website. I get it on others too, with buttons to click, instead of an underlined link.

I did see one thing in question. Someone in one of the threads said to go to Tools/internet options, and click on settings/view objects. I did that, and 2 Java Runtimes show damaged.
Could this be the cause? I really dont know what Java runtime is. I went to the sun.java web site, and I'm not clear as to what I would download to update or restore.

Any help would be appreciated. Sorry this is sooo long.

eyec,
Can you tell me how to do that? I'm only technical enough to get by. Nothing more.
Thank you.

thanks bcastner,
I'll give it a shot when I get home from work.

Happy New Year.

internet options advanced
also check the security tab for activeX settings
if you have a firewall check those settings as well.

quite often buttons will use java or activeX to present themselves & if you have either locked down then you will not be able to use them

I tried the IEfix. It didn't work.
I check my internet options and activex settings too. Nothing worked.

Just out of curiosity, when I was on the blockbuster page, and the script error popped up. I clicked no. then I clicked Refresh on my Browser, tried the button again and it worked. Unfortunatly, every page of blockbuster I go to I have to click refresh in order to click a "manage my Queue" or "add to queue" but, at least I can choose my movies from home, not at work.

Thanks for your help.
