internet explorer problem

Hi,

I'm running Windows 2000 with all the current updates. Lately when using Internet Exploring, I am unable to fill in text boxes. For example, when I'm at

http://www.google.com

I am unable to type in the search box.

Also, when I go to add/remove programs there are icons of for the programs but no other information such as the program name.

Any suggestions?

Problem solved. Installed netscape then used that to download internet exploring which reinstalled ei and it works now
