internet explorer not displaying pages

My wife is having problems when accessing the internet with Explorer 6.

Some pages display content - others (hotmail and others) sometimes display content but often not.

I am thinking of downloading to my PC and copying to a CD

Any advice, please?

Have you tried deleting the contents of the temporary internet folder? Click Tools> Internet Options> then delete cookies, delete files, and delete the history.
