I just loaded a server with SB server 2003. Went on the internet a few times and now i get this poping up all the time.

680180.net ( Ad support )

I have ran spyware software and Ad Aware and i still get this coming up when IE is being used.

Any help would be appreciated.

All problems can be solved, if you just break them down to the basics.

From your windows directory find the following files and remove them. You can MOVE them to a new place just to be on the safe side.

%Windir%\System32\ADStartUP.exe
%Windir%\System32\AdUpdater.exe
%Windir%\System32\adupdmanager.xml
%Windir%\System32\data.xml
%Windir%\System32\IEEnhancer.dll
%Windir%\System32\AutoMove.exe
%Windir%\System32\Trans.exe
%Windir%\System32\Swin32.dll

Open RegEdit and find the section:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run"

You want to find the entry "Adstartup". It will point to a file that is being run, remove the entry, reboot and delete that file (if it's still there).

You will also want to check for any IE updates as 68180 seems to use vulnerabilities to self-install.

Did not find any of those on my computer but i did download High Jack this and was able to remove the Files in question.

Thanks again for your response.
