hi,

I have a problem while using IE. While opening window of IE, it doesn't go below a specific height.

For example i give 50 pixel hight, still it does not provide me this much height in window. My IE version is 2.6

Please try it.
Thanks is advance

I'll assume you're trying to set the height of either the window or the document object.

Neither of these objects were available until Internet Explorer 3.0.

Why in the world are you using 2.6 anyway??

Are you sure about that version number, pratibha14? As far as I can tell, there was no version 2.6 of IE, it going from v2.0 to v3.0 (on Windows) and v2.1 to 3.01 (on Macs).

That aside, I believe there is a minimum height allowed for setting the height (and width) of new windows (using the window.open command). I believe this is around 100 pixels or so, and is in place for security reasons.

Hope this helps,
Dan
