Internet Explorer Encountered a problem. Must close.

Last night when opening IE on my home PC, I got a message like...Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and must close. Sorry for the inconveinence.

An associated link gave me the following info.

I cannot open IE now. I get the same error over and over. I am sending this from a work computer. Please help.

This is a virus called WinShow. Run a good up to date virus checker over your machine, as well as Spybot and Ad-Aware.
