internet explorer closing with msg"IEXPLORER has generated errors"

hi there,
i have a computer running win2k. internet exporer is closing with a message "IEXPLORER has generated errors and would be closed" when all explorer windows are closed it's showing another message "log generated". i tried installing OS again. but it didn't work. what could be wrong, any idea.
